Watch this space: all about Action
Got a note from my buddy +Nathan Joy today extolling the virtues of GURPS Action 4. We exchanged commentary on how every time you think about improving or simplifying GURPS for various high-octane genres, you’d better check the Action series first, because there’s probably something that partially or even completely fits what you want already written for you.
As a result, I’ll be taking the time to do an in depth review of the entire Action series. Watch for it!
In the meantime, here’s every post I’ve done that blogger search turns up with “GURPS Action” in it. Not all of these are on point, of course.

Damn right. This is one of the bigger reasons I almost never write anything set after the Industrial Revolution. Every time I get an idea, I find that Action already has it covered.
The concept and working of BAD and Range Bands alone, never mind the car chase rules, etc., makes Action worth it. I use Action-derived material in my DF game, and we use it in our Gamma Terra game.
I also love Action 4. http://insidiousgurpsplanning.blogspot.com/2015/10/mr-insidious-reviews-gurps-action-4.html
Ditto – even for non-Action games. http://blog.firedrake.org/archive/2015/11/GURPS_Action_4__Specialists__Sean_Punch.html
