Character Collection for TFT: Progress!

So, way before I was expecting to get them, I received 350 copies of the print version of Character Collections 1: Experienced Adventurers by UPS from Mixam. Turns out they print from Wisconsin, so getting them to me is really fast. I’ve already packed up the early orders, and noted the inventory so that it no longer says “backorder.”

I’ve also roughed out a new book, ironically called Character Collections 3: Bandits and Outlaws. I’m trying a slightly different format with the new book: it will have a band down the middle that’s a bit more than an inch wide that will contain one inch square portraits of each character, instead of generic character-looking filler art.

Each character has details such as what they did before they became a bandit, as well as their motivations, goals, and a bit of personality. This is a 20 page book, instead of the 8 pages for Experienced Adventurers.

  • Drop-outs and Malcontents (10)
  • Farmers (8)
  • Heavily Armed (12)
  • Merchants and Wanderers (16)
  • Outlaws and Pariahs (8)
  • Soldiers and Warriors (12)
  • Townfolk (8)

Character Collections 2: Rookies will also use this format, probably be targeted at 16 pages. That should wind up being 14.5 pages of characters, and so something near-enough to 60 characters. I suspect we’ll see something like 40-45 “mundane” characters, and the balance wizards.
