Till Death Do Us Part for The Fantasy Trip: One Day Left in the Kickstarter!
Where We Are With A Day Left
The Till Death Do Us Part crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter funded within the first 12 hours.
We hit the stretch goal in a bit less than three days.
Now we’re in the home stretch, with roughly one day to go. The campaign has attracted a record number of followers for me:
The prior best-ever for both followers and backers was my Nordlondr Bestiary for the Dungeon Fantasy RPG, which had 745 followers and 685 backers. We’ve already stomped all over the first … the only question is can we eke out another 210 people to make Till Death Do Us Part my most successful project ever?
It’s entirely plausible.
My other TFT Kickstarters have pushed 40-52% conversion, and we need about 22% more than we have. That’s on the upper end, but totally doable.
I guess we’ll see!
What’s Next?
I’m going to do everything I can to see to it that the next 7-10 days goes quickly and smoothly. The campaign closes tomorrow at 10pm Central. Then Kickstarter will begin charging cards, and I’ll rapidly put together the Backerkit Survey.
The book’s text is finished. Roughly half the final art is in place, and I expect the last of it to come in very quickly.
As soon as the surveys go live, those who have purchased existing PDFs will get them instantly upon survey completion. As soon as other PDFs are done – and we’re talking “weeks” not “months” here, you’ll get those too. Once the Till Death PDF goes out and we get a final set of eyes on it to catch any errors that made it past a pretty astute set of observers, I’ll place the hardcopy orders, which should be in hand in less than 4-6 weeks from that date. Maybe much less.
Did you place a retail order?
I’ll get all but Till Death out as soon as Kickstarter charges cards, not waiting for the final manufacturing phase, and so you can have TFT product on your shelf as soon as possible. The Till Death orders will follow when ready. It is not impossible for most of the order to be complete by next week.
