Ballistic’s Report for Week Ending July 16
This last week saw the end of Kenobi and will soon see the end of the rebellion.
Wait, no.
But Gaming Ballistic did do some work this week, and the Chief Ballistician took a day or so off in celebration.
- More Perilous Journeys and Character Collections are both complete, with re-ships for packages that did not arrive properly already on their way…with tracking numbers this time. Both of those are as done as done can be.
- Delvers to Grow saw release of all five files with substantial updates. Naturally there’s a slew of errata on the newest book, and some more that are coming in from the others.
- The final four books will be submitted to the printer on Tuesday, July 20 in the evening. That turns the project to “fulfillment,” which includes distribution by DriveThrRPG for the final PDF files.
- The Omnibus edition is going to require some creative edit-fu to shrink to a more-desirable 96 pages instead of the “easy” 100 it wants to come in at. I’ll get to work on that next week.
- The GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge is in its final days. It ends Tuesday, July 20 at 5pm Central Time. As I write this, it has two stretch goals to go, one at $35,000 and another at 2,000 backers. Both are within reach.
Gaming Ballistic Patreon
To help with ongoing funding of art and speed eventual time to delivery, Gaming Ballistic started a Patreon in January 2021. Here’s the weekly update on Patreon status.
- Membership status: 47 patrons and $323 per month.
- Special Content: Mostly drafts and updates for the Delvers project.
Lost a few patrons this month; gained one back. One due to lack of diversity in my free content, the other just had to belt-tighten. The next six months should be more interesting as I try and generate, on the average, one new small release per month.

- Delvers to Grow: Core Book (aka Build-a-Bjorn) is at the printer! ETA July 19.
Crowdfunding
Delvers to Grow (Launched Friday May 7 at 10am Central Time, Ended May 25 at 9pm Central)
- There Backerkit surveys 95% complete, orders locked, and cards charged
- Of the 19 remaining orders, 16 are PDF-only orders who have zero charges remaining; three are physical orders. I’ll begin contacting them this weekend to get things done.
- All five books are in backers’ hands in PDF format.
Product Announcements
The full Product Catalog got revised a bit. I also developed an order form, which is available upon request and was sent to a lot of retailers. Alas, no orders yet.
In Development
Writing and content creation for announced projects. Some of this may be cryptic.
- This coming weekend is planning weekend. Heck, I even though of a new concept for a card game that has nothing to do with RPGs at all.

- I finally, finally¸ received the CE Mark certification from STC that makes customs go more smoothly.
