That’s a lot of RPGs on the list

Steve Jackson Games just published their Top 10 list for July. There’s good news there for RPG folks.

Top Ten July 2019
Physical Digital
The Fantasy Trip Hexagram – Issue #2 GURPS Monster Hunters Power-Ups 1
The Fantasy Trip Outdoor Encounter Cards GURPS Basic Set: Characters and Campaigns
The Fantasy Trip Legacy Edition Star Fleet Battles: Gorn Master Starship Book
Munchkin Quest GURPS Character Assistant
Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 2
Deadly Doodles Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game
The Fantasy Trip: Melee GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Treasures 3: Artifacts of Felltower
The Fantasy Trip: Wizard Pyramid Classic Bundle #1-30
Ogre Miniatures, Second Edition GURPS Classic: Supers
The Good, the Bad, and the Munchkin Complete Edition Discworld Roleplaying Game

For physical goods, TFT makes up half the list, inlcluding all of the top 3. Nine of the top 10 digital releases are Powered by GURPS, but perhaps that’s not surprising, giving that’s the primary vector for such.

Congratulations to Christopher R. Rice, who’s got the #1 spot for his Monster Hunters Power-Ups 1 release, and Peter V. Dell’Orto for Artifacts of Felltower.

I’m also pleased to see the Dungeon Fantasy RPG proper on there in PDF form . . . that’s a zero cost long tail for the material.

  1. I somehow missed that they were two top-10 lists. Wow, MH – Power-Ups topped the charts for digital! Chris must be proud (I’ve also had more calls to review that one than the other two that came out this month; it’s actually been a really good month for GURPS releases).
