FnordCon Fun!

We have so many things to pack into our one day of FnordCon on October 10, some highlights include:

• Seminars with Steve Jackson, Phil Reed, Guest of Honor Liz Danforth, Munchkin Dungeon designer Eric Lang, and SJ Games staff members and guests! Find out what’s new and upcoming for Munchkin, Car Wars, GURPS, TFT, and more!
• Games, including The Fantasy Trip, Z-Shot, a brand-new and double-deadly Deadly Doodles 2 map, and Tribes. Many of these are limited seating and first-come first-served, see below for information about how to sign up.
• UltraCorps! If you’re unfamiliar with this turn-based space MMO, this is a great opportunity to try the game, and we’ll have awards for new players as well as overall winners!
• Release announcements for new games that will be sold for the first time in our dealers’ room at FnordCon (which will also include other select vendors)!
• Talk about pets, obscure 80s music, and perhaps even games with attendees and staff in the virtual con suite.

Best of all, the experience is FREE!  Watch our social media for a link to our FnordCon Discord server when it goes active on Friday evening, October 9 (you can also click “Going” on our Facebook page for the event to be notified when the server goes live). We hope to see you October 10!

Saturday, October 10th

• 9am – Doors open. Welcome session, Discord practice, open chat in the con suite and dealer room. Steve Jackson, Jimmie Bragdon, Phil Reed, Tollenkar, Jean McGuire, others!
• 10am – Welcome! Ask Us Anything: Steve Jackson and Phil Reed
• 11:30am – Munchkin: Steve Jackson and Alain Dawson from SJ Games, Ross Thompson from The OP, and Eric Lang, the co-designer of Munchkin Dungeon!
• 1pm – Car Wars: Randy Scheunemann and Ben Williams.
• 2:30pm – GURPS: Sean Punch and Steven Marsh of SJ Games and Douglas Cole of Gaming Ballistic.
• 4pm – What’s New: Phil Reed and Hunter Shelburne
• 5:30pm – TFT: Steve Jackson, Douglas Cole of Gaming Ballistic, and Andrew Walters, who coded the TFT Helper.
• 7pm – AMA – a session with our Guest of Honor, Liz Danforth.
• 8:30pm – Post-mortem and closing chat.

GAME TRACK

Saturday, October 10th

• 10am-9pm – Blitz game of UltraCorps, ticks every 30 minutes! 23 turns. Special honors for those who have not played before – best expansion for a new player, best finish for a new player.
• 11:30am-1pm – TFT Adventure on Roll20: Tomb of Logrim Chiseltoe, for up to 6 players. *
• Noon-2pm – Z-Shot may run longer if players request.
• 1pm-4pm – TFT adventure on Roll20, Harvest of the Dark Forest, for up to 8 players. *
• 2pm-6pm – Tribes with Alex, using a new Discord bot. *
• 2:30pm-4pm – TFT Adventure on Roll20: Murbag’s Sunken Den, for up to 6 players. *
• 6pm – Deadly Doodles with Hunter, on Zoom (link on Discord schedule).
