GURPS Pyramid Scheme: Ends 5pm Central Tuesday Jan 26

As I type this, there is about a day left to go in the GURPS Pyramid Scheme Kickstarter. It presents a reboot of Pyramid Magazine, with three themed issues.

I got my writing start in Pyramid. If it becomes a regular thing, maybe you can too. Each issues is already larger than the typical 36-page Pyramid from volume 3: currently sitting at 48 pages, with the final stretch goal at 52 pages less than 110 backers away at the current average pledge.

The last article in each magazine is usually a pretty good one; I’d like to see them all.

But let’s reiterate: why bother?

• These short articles are fantastic idea starters
• With up to 11 articles per issue, your $6 pledge is already less than a single issue ($8.00) of Pyramid
• If you are a GURPS player eyeballing product, some of the higher level pledge tiers offer good discounts on backerkit credit ($200 credit for $150, includes the new Pyramid issues of course)
• If you missed the old Pyramid, check out the complete Pyramid collection. It’s not cheap – $500 – but it’s about half what you’d pay getting the issues individually

With over 1,350 backers currently pledged, this is a solid project. Any Kickstarter with more than 1,000 folks in it is nice, and hopefully we’ll hit 1,500 by close of project tomorrow.
