GURPSDay Summary Aug 17, 2018 – Aug 23, 2018

Shipping. Shipping never changes. The end of the kickstarters are occuring pretty much as I had predicted. Too many tariffs and duties, not enough space or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones. Shipping. Shipping never changes. Grunt.

But . . . to GURPS! GURPSDay is currently pulling from 103 blogs on the roster.

Welcome to GURPSDay 2018, and its fifth year – GURPSDay started in February 2013,  a year after I started Gaming Ballistic.

The Dungeon Fantasy RPG, Powered by GURPSWe still need your help. And if you just started a GURPS blog – and I know that some of you have – email me and get on the list! With the advent of the Dungeon Fantasy RPG, Powered by GURPS, there’s even more reason to write.

How? Two action items: post more, recruit more. It’s really that simple. More posters is more posts, and more interest in GURPS.

Below you can find the blog activity for the last week. There’s a whole lotta awesome GURPS going on. Read all the posts.

Not every blog posts about GURPS every week, but some are ridiculously prolific! The list is randomized, so different bloggers will be highlighted at the top of the post each week.

As always, if you’re interested in having your blog consolidated here, navigate over to The Instructions Page and drop me a line. Take special note of the RSS Settings Fix if you’re on WordPress.

  1. Hi, Doug.

In case we are not too late for next week edition of GURPSday, a Spanish blog published the fourth part in a series of articles of a conversion to GURPS 4th of Discworld’s races. Here’s the link:

    http://fanzinerolero.blogspot.com/2018/08/razas-de-mundodisco-para-gurps-4th_24.html

You can find the full four entries here:

    http://fanzinerolero.blogspot.com/search/label/Sistema%20GURPS

The author of the conversion is the entity known as ZonkPJ (who is a very popular RPG designer here in Spain).

    1. I missed this yesterday.

The script only picks up blogs that are on the list and have GURPS tags. Getting Fanzinerolero onto the list won’t be a problem if they wish to be included, and they can contact me at gurpsday@gmail.com and I’ll help ’em out.
