FnordCon 3 This Weekend
This weekend is the SJGames online convention FnordCon3.
I’m reposting the schedule and information from this SJGames post, as well as a bit of narcissism. Because hey: it’s my blog.
Narcissism First
- Gaming Ballistic (that’s me) will be on with Steve at 3:30pm on Saturday. We’ll be talking GURPS and TFT.
- I’ll be on intermittently for the rest of the convention. I have my own Dealer Room where I’ll be hanging out a lot (Channel: #gaming-ballistic)
- Various of my products will be on sale for the duration of the convention on Saturday and Sunday. Friday is just social. There will be coupon codes that you can see there active during the convention.

Also, check out the sales for SJGames products. But mostly come by, hang out, listen to the panels and interact on Saturday, and play games on Sunday.
FnordCon Schedule
Events are an hour long, with 30 minutes between.
All times local Austin (CDT). The first real Stuff starts at 10am on Saturday, April 10th.

Our Discord server (FnordCon) can be found here: CLOSED. Note that there will be limited access until it fully opens at 6pm on Friday evening.
Opening Non-Ceremonies – Friday, April 9
SERVER SCHEDULE
- On: The Discord server will be open to the public at 6pm on Friday, Apr. 9. No activities are planned, but attendees may register, and chat in the con suite.
- Off: Attendees are welcome to chat and review the panel logs until the server is turned off on Monday, Apr.12.
HANGING OUT IN THE CON SUITE
- The con suite is where you can meet other attendees, guests, panelists, and dealers. This area is open for casual conversation throughout the weekend.
Panels and Speakers – Saturday, April 10
- 9am – Get the day off to a casual start. Test your Discord setup, chat with attendees and staff in the con suite, and meet our dealers.
- 10am – What’s New at Steve Jackson Games with Steve Jackson and Phil Reed. (Discord)
- 11:30am – Meet David L. Pulver, author and designer for GURPS, The Fantasy Trip (TFT), and much more! (Discord)
- 12:30pm – Lunch with Uncle Albert: watch an encore presentation of a staff Car Wars Sixth Edition autoduel while we take a lunch break. (Twitch, with Discord commentary)
- 2pm – Minis Painting with Ben Williams, SJ Games Production Artist whose work – and painting skills – were featured during the Car Wars Kickstarter. (Twitch, with Discord chat)
- 3:30pm – GURPS and TFT Roleplaying with Steve Jackson and Douglas Cole (Gaming Ballistic). (Discord)
- 5pm – Meet Lar deSouza, whose art appears in Illuminati, Munchkin, and more! (Discord)
- 6:30pm – Post-mortem and closing chat (Discord)
Gaming – Sunday, April 11
Our Discord server will still be open for chatting, but a variety of online gaming will also be offered!
Tabletopia will be hosting games of Zombie Dice and Hack & Slash (our newest title), taught by our staff and our Men in Black volunteers, between 11am and 6pm. Information on accessing the games will be available during the show from our Discord schedule.
We will be running two UltraCorps games (with special badges and prizes for participants and winners!):
- Fast: join between 10am and 11am; first turn is at 11:30am with speed play! (2 hour game)
- Furious: join between 1:30pm and 2:30pm; first turn is at 3pm. (3 hour game)
The following individual games are also available (signup information available closer to the show):
- Tribes: 12pm – 4pm
- Ogre: 11am – 1pm and 4pm – 6pm
- Deadly Doodles: 2pm-3:30pm, on Zoom (link will be on the Discord schedule) – We will be playing the original Deadly Doodles map followed by Map 2 from Deadly Doodles 2 – Download one or both maps to join the fun!
